Overview

The LM48580EVM is a fully differential, high voltage driver for piezo actuators and ceramicspeakers for portable multi-media devices. Part of TI’s Powerwiseproduct line, the LM48580EVM Class H architecture offers significant power savings compared totraditional Class AB amplifiers. The device provides 30 VP-P output drivewhile consuming just 15 mW of quiescent power.

The LM48580EVM has three pin-programmable gain settings and a low power Shutdown mode thatreduces quiescent current consumption to 0.1 μA. The LM48580EVM is available in an ultra-small 12-bumpDSBGA package.
