Overview

The ISO7421E-Q1 provides double galvanic isolation of up to 2.5 KVrms for 1 minute perUL. This digital isolator has two isolation channels in abi-directional configuration. Each isolation channel has a logic input and output buffer separatedby a silicon oxide (SiO2) insulation barrier. Used in conjunction withisolated power supplies, these devices prevent noise currents on a data bus or other circuits fromentering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry.
