Overview

The MGC3130T-I/MQ is the world’s first electrical-field (E-field) based three-dimensional (3D) tracking and gesture controller.The chip is based on Microchip’s patented GestIC® technology and enables user command input with natural hand and finger movements in free-space. The GestIC Colibri Suite is processed on-chip and enables a wide range of gesture applications shortening development cycles of developers.Through its configurable sensing states mobile friendly power consumption as low as 150 microwatts can be realized.

Serial Interface (SI3): I2CTM_SCL1/SPI_SCLK. When I2CTM is used, this line requires an external 1.8 kpull-up. Master Clear (Reset) input. This pin is an active-low Reset to the device. It requires external 10 kpull-up. Transmit electrode connection. Reserved: do not connect. Common ground reference for analog and digital domains. Positive supply for peripheral logic and I/O pins. It requires an external filtering capacitor (100 nF). Exposed pad. It should be connected to Ground.
