Overview

The MM74C90N is a CMOS 4-bit decade counter/divider. This counter has the capability to either reset to zero or be preset to nine when the correct logic levels are applied to the R01, R02, R91, and R92 inputs. Additionally, an independent flip-flop on the A-bit allows users to utilize it as a frequency counter divided by 2, 5, or 10. It counts binary states and provides outputs for various counting stages.
