Overview

The LM358N comprises two separate high-gain operational amplifiers that are internally frequency compensated. These amplifiers are tailored for operation within a wide voltage range from a single power supply. They can also function with split power supplies, and their low power supply current is not contingent on the power supply voltage's magnitude.

The suffix indicates the packaging code used by the manufacturer. 'N' is commonly employed by most manufacturers for the plastic 8-pin package, while 'P' is used by a few manufacturers for the same packaging. It's important to note that there is no distinction between these two devices; the difference lies solely in the manufacturer's coding.
