Overview

The CD4024BCN is a 7-stage binary counter/divider integrated circuit (IC). It contains 7 flip-flops that can be used to count binary pulses or divide frequencies by powers of 2. Externally, buffered outputs can be accessed from stages 1 to 7. A logical "1" on the reset input returns the counter to its logical "0" position.
