Overview

STMicroelectronics Processor Modules for Bluetooth® Low Energy v4.1 include the SPBTLE-RF0TR and SPBTLE-RF0 easy-to-use master/slave network processor modules. The modules can be powered directly with a pair of "AAA" batteries or any 1.7-3.6V power source. The SPBTLE-RF0TR can also be powered with a standard 3V coin cell battery. The modules are compliant with Bluetooth v4.1 and support multiple roles simultaneously. The devices can act as a Bluetooth low energy sensor and hub device. The entire Bluetooth low energy stack and protocols are embedded into the modules. The external host application processor is connected through a standard SPI interface.
