Overview

Bluegiga BT121 Bluetooth Smart Ready Module is targeted for applications that require both Bluetooth Smart and Classic connectivity. The BT121 can connect to legacy devices that only support Bluetooth SPP or Apple iAP2 profiles. It integrates a high-performance Bluetooth radio, a low-power ARM Cortex micro-controller and a Bluegiga Bluetooth Smart Ready stack software. The BT121 is extremely easy-to-use with no RF or Bluetooth software development needed. BT121 can be used as a modem together with a separate host MCU, but applications can also be embedded into the built-in ARM Cortex MCU with the Bluegiga BGScriptTM scripting language.
