Overview

The MAX16833EVKIT+ evaluation kit (EV kit) is a 16-channel, constant-current LED driver capable of driving 40mA to each of the 16 LED strings, with a total forward voltage of up to 32V. Based on the MAX16809 device, it provides 16 constant-current-sinking outputs with sink current settable using a single resistor. The EV kit incorporates a high-performance, current-mode pulse-width-modulator (PWM) controller to implement a DC-DC converter generating the supply voltage to drive the LED strings.
