Overview

MACOM’s MA45400 series is a highly repeatable,UHCVD/ion-implanted, abrupt silicon tuning varactorin a cost effective surface mount package. This seriesof varactors is designed for general purposetuning in the HF to UHF frequency bands. It is efficientfor wide tuning across a 0-30V range. Thesediodes are offered with standard Sn/Pb plating , aswell as 100% matte Sn plating on our RoHs compliantequivalent devices.MACOM’s MA45400 series tuning varactor is usefulfor tuning applications in the HF through UHFranges. Applications include VCO’s and voltagetuned filters in radios, cable TV tuners and test instrumentswhere low cost and excellent lot to lot repeatabilityare critical.
