Overview

MACOM’s MAVR-000120-1411 is a gallium arsenide flip chiphyperabrupt varactor diode. This device isfabricated on OMCVD epitaxial wafers usinga process designed for high device uniformityand extremely low parasitics. Thisdiode is fully passivated with silicon nitrideand has an additional layer of polyimide forscratch protection. The protective coatingsprevent damage to the junction during automatedor manual handling. The flip chipconfiguration is suitable for pick and placeinsertion.
