M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. (M/A-COM Tech), a leading supplier of high performance analog semiconductor solutions, introduced today a new 2:1 flux coupled transformer for CATV applications. The MABA-011017 is a flux coupled transformer ideal for DOCSIS 3.0 applications. Packaged in a surface mount SM-138 package, the MABA-011017 exhibits low insertion loss and high return loss. �The MABA-011017 has been specifically designed and optimized to work with next generation DOCSIS3.0 programmable gain amplifiers that require a 2:1 impedance match,� said Graham Board, Product Manager. �This part extends our offering of high performance DOCSIS Baluns which are highlighted in all leading PGA reference designs."
