MACOM’s MAAVSS0008TR is a GaAs MMIC voltagevariable absorptive attenuator in a lead-free SOIC-8surface mount plastic package. The MAAVSS0008is ideally suited for use where linear attenuation finetuning and very low power consumption arerequired.Typical applications include radio, cellular, GPSequipment and automatic gain/level control circuits.The MAAVSS0008TR is fabricated with a monolithicGaAs MMIC using a mature 1-micron process. Theprocess features full chip passivation for increasedperformance and reliability.
