MACOM’s MAALSS0042TR-3000 ALSS0042 is a high performanceGaAs MMIC low noise amplifier in a lead-free SOIC8-lead surface mount plastic package. TheMAALSS0042TR-3000 ALSS0042 employs a monolithic 3-stage selfbiasdesign and a simple external matching networkto obtain minimum noise figure.The MAALSS0042TR-3000 ALSS0042 is ideally suited for use wherelow noise figure, high gain, high dynamic range andlow power consumption are required. Typicalapplications include receiver front ends in the GlobalPositioning System (GPS) market, as well asstandard gain blocks, buffer amps, driver amps, andIF amps in both fixed and portable systems.MACOM’S MAALSS0042TR-3000 ALSS0042 is fabricated using amature 0.5-micron gate length GaAs process. Theprocess features full passivation for increasedperformance reliability.
