Overview

MACOM'S MA46H120 series is a gallium arsenide flipchip hyperabrupt varactor diode. Thesedevices are fabricated on OMCVD epitaxialwafers using a process designed for highdevice uniformity and extremely lowparasitics. The MA46H120 diodes are fullypassivated with silicon nitride and have anadditional layer of polyimide for scratchprotection. The protective coatings preventdamage to the junction during automated ormanual handling. The flip chip configurationis suitable for pick and place insertion.
