Overview

IDT’s RF Synthesizer family also includes the – Wideband RF Synthesizer / PLL with integrated VCO - that offers enhanced phase noise specifications geared to GSM and Band 42 radio cards applications.

For optimal performance, it is recommended to recalibrate the VCO when the temperature has varied more than 90°C from the temperature at which the previous calibration occurred. For applications where such recalibration of the VCO is not practical, refer to the IDT’s RF Synthesizer - Low Power Wideband Fractional RF Synthesizer – that ensures the VCO stays calibrated on a same VCO digital band across the entire temperature range.
