Overview

The FT311D-32L1C-R is an USB Android Host IC, provides a bridge between peripheral hardware and an Android platform with a USB device port. The IC will enumerate the Android platform and provide an interface to either, GPIO, UART, PWM, I²C master, SPI slave or SPI master. The FTDIs Android Accessory Mode integrated circuit device or Android Host. The USB Android host IC behaves like a bridge between an Android device and the various I/O available. Selection of various modes is performed using CNFGx pins.
