Overview

The HY Electronic unidirectional SMBJ12A Series are surface-mounted voltage suppressors. The TVS diodes have reverse voltages ranging from 5 V to 170 V with a power dissipation of 600 W. The transient voltage suppressor provides surge protection from voltage spikes. Other features include fast response times and clamping voltage capability.

TVS devices are ideal for the protection of I/O Interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits used in Telecom, Computer, Industrial and Consumer electronic applications.
