Overview

The Am29F040 is a 4 Mbit, 5.0 Volt-only Flash memory organized as 512 Kbytes of 8 bits each. It is available in a 32-pin package and is designed for in-system programming with a standard system 5.0 V VCC supply. Unlike some other Flash memory devices, it does not require a 12.0 V VPP for write or erase operations. Reprogramming can also be done using standard EPROM programmers.
