Overview

AKM’s AK9752AE is an ultra-small and very low powered, infrared (IR) sensor module. This module contains an InSb quantum IR sensor element and integrates the signal processing. It also includes an analog front end circuit that converts current output of the element into voltage, a thermometer that measures the element temperature, a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter, and an I2C interface. The AK9752AE can be used for detecting human presence for short range applications and is capable of detecting through glass.
