Overview

DESCRIPTIONThe LM199/LM399AH precision shunt reference featuresexcellent temperature stability over a wide range of voltage,temperature and operating current conditions. Astabilizing heater is incorporated with the active Zener ona monolithic substrate which nearly eliminates changes involtage with temperature. The subsurface Zener operatesover a current range of 0.5mA to 10mA, and offers minimalnoise and excellent long-term stability.Ideal applications for the LM199/LM399AH include digital voltmeters,precision calibration equipment, current sourcesand a variety of other precision low cost references. A 10Vbuffered reference application is shown below.
