Overview

The ADM8616/ADM8617RCYAKSZ-RL7 are supervisory circuits that monitorpower supply voltage levels and code execution integrity in micro-processor-based systems. A power-on reset signal generates whenthe supply voltage rises to a preset threshold level. The ADM8616/ADM8617RCYAKSZ-RL7 have an on-chip watchdog timer that can reset themicroprocessor if it fails to strobe within a preset timeoutperiod.

The ADM8616/ADM8617RCYAKSZ-RL7 are available in 4-lead SC70 packagesand typically consume only 5 μA, making them suitable for usein low power, portable applications.
